FAQs
Everything you might want to know before the day.
Can I bring a plus-one?
We are keeping it small, so we can only welcome the names printed on your invitation. If your name is on it, please come. If it is not, we hope you understand, we simply will not have a seat or a plate to spare.
Are kids welcome?
This is an adults-only celebration, eighteen and over. As much as we love your little ones, we are asking you to leave them at home this time so everyone can relax.
Where do I sit?
Sit anywhere you like. It is a small, family-style afternoon, so grab whatever seat feels right.
What's the weather like?
Warm the whole way through, likely in the twenties. Dress for a sunny summer afternoon and comfortable shoes for grass.
What time should I arrive?
Please aim for 2:00 so we can start the ceremony right at 2:30.
Is there a gap between the ceremony and the food?
No gap. Once we have said our vows, it rolls straight into tacos, drinks, and celebrating.
Do you offer accessibility support?
Some, yes. If you will need accessibility help, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate it with the venue ahead of time.
How do I RSVP?
Easy. Tap the RSVP button anywhere on this site and fill out the short form. Please reply by July 8, 2026.
What's the food and drink?
A taco spread with aguas frescas. A heads-up for our non-meat friends: the tacos are meat this time. And it is a dry celebration, so the aguas frescas will be doing the heavy lifting.
Can I take pictures?
We have hired a photographer, so you really don't have to. Honestly, we would love for everyone to put their phones down and just be in the moment with us. If you truly can't resist, that is alright, but bring an actual camera.
How do gifts work?
Bringing a physical gift? Feel free to bring it with you on the day. Prefer to contribute to our new life together? There is a page for that on this site. And if you would like to send something ahead of the wedding, which honestly helps us a lot, you know where to find us.
Who do I contact with questions?
Anything at all, email Kai at info@kaimallari.com and we will get back to you.
What if I'm running late?
Please do everything you can to arrive by 2:30, or you will miss the ceremony, which would be a real bummer. If life happens and you are late, slip in quietly off to the side and please do not interrupt until the ceremony is over.
What if I can't make it?
We completely understand. Please still RSVP with a no so we have an accurate headcount.
I have a serious allergy. Can you help?
If it is a real concern, email us at info@kaimallari.com and let us know. We would genuinely like to hear about it.
Is there a rehearsal or an after-party?
No rehearsal to worry about. The celebration is the afternoon itself, from 2 to 5.
What if it rains?
[Bad-weather backup to confirm — we are planning a comfortable rain-or-shine option.]
